An option inside Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) that offers a print book to outside distributors, so that booksellers and libraries can find it and order it. Amazon's own page says the royalty is 40 percent of the list price minus printing costs, that the book's ISBN must not have been submitted for distribution through another service, and that enrolling does not guarantee a distributor accepts the book or that any shop orders it.

Why it matters to you
It is the cheapest way to reach part of the print trade from an account you already have, and it is the usual reason two services end up fighting over one ISBN. Once you enroll a book here, that ISBN is spoken for.
