About
Adam Zuckerman is an attorney, entrepreneur, and the founder of Buried in Work, which makes practical education, tools, and products for estate planning, end-of-life preparation, estate organization, and estate administration. He also founded Heirloom & Tell, End of Life Careers, and the Buried in Work Charitable Foundation.
His first book, No Loose Ends: The Smart & Slightly Morbid Guide to Estate Planning & End-of-Life Tasks (Wiley, 2026), won the 2026 NYC Big Book Award in Death & Dying and a Gold Medal at the 2026 Living Now Book Awards. He wrote it after serving as an executor with a law degree and still not finding a single document that said what actually had to happen.
Before Buried in Work he was Vice President of Business Development at Last Energy, Director of Ventures and Innovation at Discovery, and General Counsel at JESS3. He holds a BA, a JD, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, is a Zhi-Xing China Eisenhower Fellow, and created AuthorChecklist.com after learning how much of the publishing system first-time authors are expected to understand on their own.
